Hey guys! To all you fellow outdoor-lovers and thrill-seekers, you have to hear about this awesome trail I just ran!
I don’t know if you guys know what trail running is but basically it’s off-road running which can cover many terrains like mountains, desert and even jungles. Well I haven’t been involved in it for too long but I just did my first trail and wow, it totally blew my mind! For anyone who’s keen on running and interested I would definitely encourage you to get involved, and soon!
Anyway I used this new K-Way site to help me with my gear and overall experience. It was also an awesome way of keeping my friends and family in the loop of my whereabouts and my progress, and I could send them photos or comments attached to a map of exactly where I was at that time. You need a smart phone to be able to download the application (“Track IT”) and I recently got the new Samsung Galaxy so it worked perfectly. Also, I saw peoples’ previous track pictures (of the same run) that they had uploaded on their profile on the site so I was able to get a feel for the race before I was there. Some tips those okes gave like not pushing too much on the first day because the second day is far tougher were spot on! Also using your water sparingly because you’ll need it and it doesn’t help your game running with a bloated stomach!
